Born on 28 May, 1981, in Italy. Claudia studied Foreign Literature at Cattolica del Sacro Cuore University, Milan. Passion for photography began when she moved to New York in 2007. Her practice is strongly influenced by Participant Observation theories, focusing on how places and habits influence and change our behaviour and even society itself. Her work from the series 85 was part of the Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize 2011. Claudia lives in London and works in both the UK and Italy.
Nata in Italia il 28 maggio 1981. Claudia è cresciuta in Valle Camonica e ha studiato Lingue e Letterature Straniere all'Università Cattolica Del Sacro Cuore di Milano. La passione per la fotografia è cominciata a New York nel 2007. La sua pratica è fortemente influenzata dalle teorie dell'Osservazione Partecipante, prende quindi spunto dalla sociologia analizzando luoghi e abitudini che hanno il potere di influenzare e cambiare l'uomo e la società moderna.
Un'immagine tratta dalla serie 85 è stata selezionata per il Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize 2011 ed esposta alla National Portrait Gallery di Londra. Claudia vive a Londra e lavora tra il Regno Unito e l'Italia.
